From people I know personally to videos I’ve been tagged in to emails I have received… I have heard my ARC readers tell me one thing: they wished there was more. Well, I heard you, and so I decided that I will be posting a short, fun bonus scene on the release day for Her Wicked Ways. So, mark your calendars, and I will post the fun bonus scene when it’s available after the book is released.

After a lot of time spent working on other projects, asking myself if this story was really worth it, fighting my own desire to get this fantasy novel out into the world, I have decided now is the time to get it to betas. 

Fate of the Crimson Moon is a romantic fantasy novel featuring a bisexual female lead (and there is on-page spice with both men and women, separately). This was my very first attempt at true fantasy, and its completion actually predates A Devil of a Time, but I wanted to hold this one close to the chest for many reasons.

Here is the synopsis of Fate of the Crimson Moon:

Alvara Dragos is destined for more; she can feel it in her bones. So when the opportunity arises for her to confront her destiny head-on, she sets off in search of the man she thinks has all of the answers. Because getting answers means that she stands a chance of breaking the curse that has settled over the lands of Astorinia for millennia. And those answers might just be the fulfillment of a prophecy long-since believed to be nothing more than foolish hope. 

On her journey through the lands of the fae, harpies, sirens, humans, vampires, werewolves, shifters, and elves, she is confronted with danger, love, magic, fate, and a god of death determined to see her fail. 

Is love enough to keep her safe? Can she find out how to fulfill her destiny? And what are the costs to seeking out the answers she so desperately wants to know?

Fate of the Crimson Moon is the first in the Crimson Moon duology by Klara Nielsen.

My debut novel, A Devil of a Time, released officially on September 1, 2023. Because of my clumsy fingers, the release dates on Amazon vs. Goodreads don't actually line up with when I, personally, wanted everything to go live. 

But, I am human. Therefore, I live and I learn. So far, I have participated in offering my book for free to get more readers. I am making people laugh on TikTok. And I am enjoying making my friends blush with the spice I write. 

And the spice in A Devil of a Time will be seen as Victorian-era tame based on what I am currently writing. 

My next novel will feature a plus-sized lead with three deliciously untamed male MCs who all want her all for themselves. With a focus on "why choose?" mixed with "touch her and die" vibes and an unhinged stalker, this next book is nearly 50% completed, and I will be seeking out Beta readers this time. I hope to release it February 1, 2024, but I understand if that needs to be pushed back at all.
